Weโve made big progress on steps 3โ5, and the mural is really starting to come alive.
The Church and Train now have their background layers fully up, and our focus has shifted to sketching the lines back in so artists can begin working on details, depth, and definition. This is the stage where shapes sharpen, highlights make sense, and the story of the mural becomes clearer with every line.
As always, weโre ensuring that every artist who wants to participate has the opportunity, with Mandy Ide leading the projectโmentoring peers, modeling techniques, and supporting artists alongside WATCH staff.
This phase is all about patience, precision, and confidence-building, and itโs incredible to watch artists step into detailed work on such a large-scale public piece. More to come as the details continue to unfold.
